Co-Founder
JungYeun Kim
JungYeun is the Founding Principal of a private school in Northvale, NJ, set to open in June 2024. Since August 2020, worked in a private high school in NJ in multiple capacities, including Seton Hall PA Instructor, DEI Coordinator, and Math & Econ Teacher. JungYeun initiated and led significant diversity and inclusion efforts as a member of the diversity and inclusion advisory committee.

Dr. Coletta Young
Colette Young, Assistant Director and Adjunct Faculty at Columbia University's Teachers College, teaches in the Summer Principals’ Academy (SPA) Program and the Department of Music and Music Education. With extensive experience in STEAM curriculum design from middle school to graduate level, she now focuses on developing leadership methodologies and fostering diversity in education. Her research interests include STEAM education, design thinking, and voice development.

Lydia Kang
An advocate for authentic student learning experiences, Lydia works to help students develop the skills they need to articulate who they are and who they intend on becoming. Lydia has been an English teacher for 8 years and currently serves in the Montgomery County Public School system as a 7th grade English teacher in Silver Spring, Maryland. She has helped build school curricula, been a school test coordinator, and has served as an instructional coach throughout her journey in education.

Concurrently studying Communication and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, she's passionate about innovative education, aiming to make meaningful contributions to the field.

Min Young Song
Min Young has been teaching in independent schools in NYC for over 20 years. Min Young is currently working at the Ethical Culture Fieldston School. She is an early childhood educator who has always been passionate about DEI and Social Justice. Besides being a classroom teacher, Min Young has served in various roles in her communities. In leading DEI work in schools she has worked as an affinity group advisor, teacher trainer, and has led hiring committees to recruit teachers.
